How long are the church services?
Sunday morning services typically last from approximately 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Wednesday night services typically last from approximately 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
How big is PHD ministries?
Our church, established in 1984, is a small community of believers. We have roughly 500 members spread along the Mississippi Gulf Coast with two physical churches in Bay St. Louis, MS and Picayune, MS.
Do I have to belong to a denomination to attend?
No, Powerhouse of Deliverance Ministries is a nondenominational ministry. Instead of following a specific set of beliefs established by a specific denomination, we rely on scripture. We believe that the church is a community of believers; therefore, we are a member-led ministry and welcome people of all denominations.
What kind of adult education or spiritual growth opportunities do you participate in?
We have a Women’s Ministry and a Men’s Ministry. In each of these ministries, men and women come together to host and attend conferences, retreats, events, and book clubs. Adults in leadership also convene on Sunday mornings before church to discuss and probe through the Word of God together.
